Shankar Regunathan

Shankar Regunathan develops advanced techniques for video quality measurement, encoding optimization, and large-scale processing of user-generated content at Meta. He previously worked on video codecs at Microsoft and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. Shankar is a repeat @Scale speaker and has authored multiple patents and award-winning research in video compression.
