Wei Li

Wei Li is a Senior Principal Scientist at Wyze Labs, where he leads innovations in computer vision and smart home AI. With expertise spanning face recognition, object tracking, 3D facial reconstruction, emotion recognition, and point‑cloud body animation, Wei has been instrumental in building intelligent AI-driven video analysis systems for millions of devices.

Before Wyze, he served as an Applied Scientist at Amazon, contributing to advanced vision–language research. Wei earned his Ph.D. at the City College of New York and now tackles real-world challenges like working on vision-language model development and deployment across Wyze's 10+ million households.
